The KTM Crossbow: it looks like a go-kart on steroids! That’s not far off, actually. Austrian company KTM usually manufactures off-road motorbikes, but it has recently made the jump into street bikes, and now the lightweight sports car market.
The production version of the Alfa Romeo 4C has finally been revealed ahead of a launch at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show in March. It’s been clear since December – when Alfa teased the 4C – that we would finally get a proper production version of the first proper Alfa sports car in as long as we all care to remember. And, as far as we can see, the production Alfa 4C is pretty faithful to the concept.
Honda has teamed up with Mugen again for a new hotrod special - but this one's a hybrid. The new Honda CR-Z Mugen is a slightly more ecologically sound proposition than the banzai 2009 Civic Type R Mugen, and brings the race car treatment to Honda's hybrid coupe. However, at this stage it's a one-off prototype, with no firm commitment to build even a limited run.
